Maintenance events are planned in advance to ensure all itdesign Clarity SaaS customers may plan ahead for any considerations. We recommend to not plan any releases during the scheduled maintenance windows, because all maintenance events include some amount of disruption. Maintenance windows are intended to be at quiet periods with limited Clarity activity.

Maintenance windows represent scheduled periods during which a SaaS service undergoes essential maintenance activities, ensuring the system remains robust, secure, and up to date. This proactive approach to system upkeep is integral to preserving optimal performance, enhancing security postures, and incorporating new features that align with the evolving needs of users. The monthly maintenance windows are confined to the second Saturdays in each quarter.
Non-PROD: For non-PROD environments, the maintenance activities are conducted on working days outside business hours.
PROD: There will be one maintenance window per quarter. The maintenance window is scheduled to take place on the second Saturday of the quarter between 8:00 AM (GMT) and 3:00 PM (GMT). Please refer to the table for the maintenance windows above.
itdesign conducts occasional, planned monthly maintenance to improve the monitoring, security, and stability of the itdesign Clarity SaaS infrastructure. Those activities include:
- Patching the infrastructure components (databases, app servers)
- Maintenance activities on the databases like Index Rebuild and Table Defragmentation
- Changes on the database infrastructure for which a restart is required
